STEP 1 - STEEL
  • 95,000 Minimum Yield Full Hard Steel - Stress relieved ASTM structural grade steel with a minimum base metal yield strength of 95 ksi.
  • Yield Strength - Yield Strength represents the stress at which material transition from elastic to plastic deformation.  Once a material has been loaded past its yield point, it is permanently deformed.
  • Ksi - Measurement typically used to express strength of a material or force per square area – thousand pounds per square inch (1000 lb/in2).
  • Coil Hardness - The resistance of metallic material to plastic deformation by indentation or penetration.
  • Galvalume Coating – delivers the best protective characteristic features of aluminum and zinc.
  • Chromate Pretreatment – A complex oxide bonds the paint to the Galvalume substrate resulting in superior adhesion of the primer.
  • Polyurethane Primer - A primer coat is applied to prevent undercutting of paint and to enhance corrosion resistance.
